How ARMOURJOINT® works
The ARMOURJOINT® system enables flooring contractors to cast fast and flat industrial concrete floors in facilities such as warehouses, factories, logistics centres, depots etc. ARMOURJOINT® surpasses the requirements of TR34 4th Edition and provides exceptional levels of load transfer.
ARMOURJOINT® also features a unique, ‘Asymmetrical Plate Dowel’ design for superior load transfer, while the sleeves are designed to facilitate a class leading +/-20mm of longitudinal movement along the joint and 30mm maximum joint opening.Read more
How SHIELDJOINT® works
Unlike traditional joint systems, SHIELDJOINT® has Asymmetric Top Plates, which feature a specific trapezoidal split line. These have been designed with a wave length suitable for the narrowest of material handling equipment wheel widths, so the wheels are always in contact with both halves of the top plates.
This innovation eliminates the need for costly sealant and reduces expensive facility down time otherwise required for joint sealant repairs or ongoing re-sealing. SHIELDJOINT® surpasses the requirements of TR34 4th Edition.Read more
About our products
Our innovative ARMOURJOINT® and SHIELDJOINT® leave-in-place formwork and load transfer systems are designed to meet the demanding needs of today’s industrial concrete ground bearing and piled floors. The system enables flooring contractors to cast fast and flat industrial concrete floors in facilities such as warehouses, factories, logistics centres and depots.
Our leave-in-place STEELDECKJOINT® is used for the creation of planned and emergency construction joints on steel and metal decks on upper floors. This simple system is revolutionising the casting methods on raised floors, saving significant time over the traditional timber formwork methods.
Supported by strategically located stock warehouses in Sydney, Australia and Dubai, UAE, our products have been used globally by flooring contractors on small commercial projects through to major logistics centres. Isedio joints are fast becoming the preferred formwork and load transfer systems of many flooring contractors and engineers.
ARMOURJOINT® and SHIELDJOINT® stand for superior performance through innovative design and surpasses the requirements of TR34 4th Edition. STEELDECKJOINT® surpasses the requirements of GCG5 and SCI P300.

Acquired by Ancon, Isedio perfectly positioned for future growth.
Isedio is pleased to announce that it is now part of the Ancon group of businesses. This change of ownership will allow Isedio’s local entrepreneurship to benefit from large company resources and new international routes to market, while for Ancon this acquisition expands its product portfolio and strengthens the company’s position in key territories.
Ancon designs and manufactures a wide range of high integrity steel products for the construction industry from facilities in the UK, continental Europe, Middle East, Australia and New Zealand and has a network of distributors worldwide. With operations in the UK and Australia, Isedio complements Ancon’s product portfolio and manufacturing footprint perfectly. The existing management team will remain in place at Isedio’s facilities, and will continue to handle the day-to-day business operations. Isedio’s founder, Shaun Spurrell, who now takes up the role of General Manager, said:
“This is fantastic news for Isedio’s employees and customers. We are now an integral part of an international construction accessories group that is committed to supporting our growth plans and will ensure we reach our full potential. The Ancon group will bring immediate operating benefits and secure the long-term development of the Isedio business. I’m delighted that this process is now complete and that the business can move forward with renewed purpose. In the short-term, our customers can be assured that it is ‘business as usual’ at Isedio. The immediate priority for the team is to continue to provide high quality products backed by the first-class technical support and service that the market expects from us”.
Ancon’s Managing Director, Peter McDermott, said:
“I would like to welcome the Isedio team to the Ancon group. While initially it’s ‘business as usual’ for everyone concerned, being part of Ancon will ultimately ensure continual investment in health and safety, innovation and sustainability that will benefit Isedio’s employees and customers.”
